Having written, produced, and directed my own films, I understand wanting to make your film look and be its best. Color grading, like great lighting, is something that can take your film to the next level. Nobody takes a photo and doesn't retouch it, or writes a script and doesn't rehearse, so you shouldn't shoot your film and not make it look its best.
I'm a colorist and I've been doing it for almost 10 years. I went to school for filmmaking, I've worked on-set, I'm a photographer, and love collaborating with artists. Attention to detail is important to me and I love shaping the image, knowing the story, discovering the perfect look, and as always - pushing the story forward.
I've graded over 35 feature films with this mindset along with hundreds of music videos, short films, documentaries, commercials, web/tv spots and more. Some of my past corporate clients include Pepsi, ESPN, Chase, Shiseido, Under Armour, Sundance Channel, Tru TV, and Versace.
As far as indie filmmakers, I've worked with countless and have helped grade and deliver projects for online and theatrical distribution.
My rate is a sliding scale and I've rarely turned down projects I'm passionate about due to limited budgets. So, with that in mind, feel free to contact me and let's get started.
